Introducing the ACDC font. ACDC is a rock band from Australia with famous albums not only in the country but also known in many countries around the world, ACDC was founded in 1973. The first font designed for the ACDC logo was the Glaser Stencil font. This is the font used for the logo of the band ACDC on their first album High Voltage.
ACDC Gothic font
Album Dirty Deeds Done Dirt was released in 1976 with a completely different ACDC logo. With its fancy cartoon style, along with the familiar slashes and lightning bolts, this Cartoon font features very popular characters and resembles the FREEhand575 font.
With constant change, followed by another letter appearing on the ACDC logo, it made its debut on the cover of High Voltage in 1976. This is neutral Gothic font lettering, it’s casual and simple and more classic than modern lines. This is a special ACDC font with the Lightning, each character will have a blue border around it.
Another typeface used for the ACDC band logo is the Shatter font. This is a rather unique font with a broken and cracked style, resulting in completely chipped characters. And this font was used to design the cover art of the album Powerage published in 1978.
And a next font that can be a mainstream font used to design for ACDC Albums later is the Squealer font. This familiar font was used for ACDC’s fourth album, called Let There Be Rock. And this Logo was designed in 1977 by a talented designer named Gerard Huerta.
